Front runner setup for a SBC
 

I'm considering adding some sort of front runner setup to my 383, something that would let me move my Sanden style AC comp to the passenger side and run a serpentine belt.

I've used up my "new part" budget for the off season but would consider a used setup if the price and application made sense.

Anyone have anything laying around left over from a LS swap they aren't using anymore?

I have a New.. March performance Sport Track, that I set up on my SBC 383 before I had head problems, and decided to go LS. It is does come with the Sanden A/C, Power steering pump, water pump.. (it requires a certain one, as I already had one from the Vintage Air kit, and had to buy the complete kit for this. )

Bench tested engine for maybe 10 minutes at best. (valve in head got stuck, flattened cam, decided not to rebuild).

Rich put a different water pump, so the one with the kit is in the box, unused, unmounted.

With the current 10% coupon and free shipping I can get that same kit brand new from Summit for $1061.

I do like certain things about it though, I like the PS pump belt wrap even though it takes a second belt and where it puts the AC compressor. Pretty sure my 144 amp alternator will fit in it as well.

setup from zz4 crate
 

I have a front runner setup from my zz4 350 crate motor. Willing to let it go for pretty cheap if interested. Can send more pics after I clean my garage and sort it out. Lmk..

Does that setup use a sanden style compressor or is it setup for the R4 style compressor?
