Custom shock tower brace
 

After seeing nothing I liked in the way of export braces , I had a friend who owns AVS fabricators make a custom export/shock tower brace for my 65 fastback. I could not be more happy with the reults.

Looks great, Riles! I've got the MikeMaierInc set up and it's similar, I like how yours can unbolt easily. I noticed the steering box, are you running the Borgeson box? If so, what are your thoughts on the lines in the kit?

Looks solid! Does it mount up to your firewall as well? Post more pictures when you get the chance.

I am running the borgeson , but did not get the kit, so I can't give any thoughts on it. I am making my own lines and running them out of sight for cleaner engine bay.

It mounts at the same point as the original export brace. The complete brace has been removed several times and it was easy as pie.
