Source for tow hooks?
 

Currently I have 3 tow hooks on TOW: one front, and 2 at the rear axle shock mounts. I am likely going to replace the front one, and I need to add a new rear one. So I'm looking for a source for them.

The place I purchased my current ones from appears to be out of business. Anyone have a good suggestion, particularly for a 2nd gen F-body?

Bryan, I don't have any info regarding hooks, sorry. How is the engine working out? Did you get your oiling issues under control?
And I have to ask...that line you have going under the rear frame rail...what is that?

What do you have that screwed into? Unfortunately the Firebird doesn't have a nice opening like that to make life easy. :\

So far the engine seems to be doing well. I got her up and running late summary and went to the Fall GG. I haven't driven a lot since then due to work travel, but I have an autocross next weekend I may attend, and a 3-day event at COTA the weekend after where she'll get a real test!

I need to dyno again, I have an appointment next week for that. Strangely my timing seems to be off after the rebuild. That was one thing which was found during the rebuild: the reluctor ring had spun. When I started driving again after the rebuild, I was getting a good bit of detonation, so I backed the whole timing table off about 3*. We made a timing tab which shows that's about how far we're off. So the dyno will help dial that back in.

I'm really happy with the current oiling solution, but I have to say that seeing 10 psi of oil pressure when hot is a bit unsettling at first! I'm told this is normal, and the pressure jumps as I expect with RPM. Still, something to adjust to!

As to your other question, that is the brake line. With the DSE subframe connectors, there isn't a good 'opening' to tuck it up any better. Eric did a nice job with it, but yes it's below the rail...
