Infinity CS-1B Kappa speaker system
Hey guys,
Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but didn't see an audio forum... So, I have a 67 Camaro that I am in the process of re-doing after a 20 year hiatus for medical school, etc. I have an Infinity CS-1B Kappa speaker system that I bought prior to my hiatus, but never installed. I wanted to get your opinion on if I should look at a newer system, or if the Infinity's would work? I would probably need to add a subwoofer as well. I've looked at the Screaming Performance website, as well as The Shop LLC website, and they both appear to have very nice kick panels and rear package tray items. The Infinity setup has EMIT tweeters, which appear to be surface mount units. Basically, I am just looking to see if any of the more stereo-inclined people on the forum might have any thoughts on the subject. |
Here is a link to picture of my install of The Shop LLC's kick panels:

I too have "The Shop LLC" kicks and the quality is top shelf, very nice. Clint does an excellent job.

Thanks, guys. I was looking the system over today, I think the A pillar mount may work. The only concern is that the tweeters are rectangular, so I'm unsure if I can get them to mount flush on the moulding. I may consider mounting them on the front door panel, somewhere under the vent window. Decisions, decisions. I probably need to talk to The Shop, and maybe some of the car audio shops in town to get their thoughts as well.

BTW, ADY, your install looks amazing! That thread was the reason why I visited the Shop website in the first place.

Be sure to mention LateralG and Clint may give you a discount.
