Not gonna lie, I checked it out to consider saving it.

May be a good start to a project as its most likely scaring away some folks!

This is what happens when you pursue style over function, even if your function is only an autocross. While style is arguable, function is not. Re-think that tramp stamp.

Looks like a better start than some of the rotted out hulls I've seen some people use.

2 things...

1) I don't think that was cool even in the time period it was built.
2) Nothing that a good builder/fab guy cannot correct with new quarters, front clip, etc.

I'm sorry, that's just a ugly car to me. I know each to his own, but...
I agree though for the price (so far) it would be a good place to start to restore the '69 though.
