69 Grand Prix frame on a 72 chevelle?

Hey guys, will a 69 Grand Prix frame work on a 71chevelle? I just got a chevelle and it needs a frame. My buddy found a Grand Prix and I'm trying to see if that frame will work at all. Please let me know what u guys know, will this work? Thanks in advance guys!

Damn! I'm in cali, what would you want for it and what would freight be from ga? Also would a dram from a 4 door lark work?

Cali...man freight would be atrocious. That thing is huge. Wish you were out this way. Not sure about the 4 door Lark frame.

Pretty sure the frame is different in 4 doors

That's what I was thinking. It only makes sense to me. My buddy was trying to tell me otherwise. What about a frame for a70 lemans? Would that work on a that yesr chevelle? That one sounds more like it would work with no issues.

I believe LeMans/GTO is the same as Chevelle.

I'd agree but just do a google search ...chevelle frame dimensions click images ....it's in there somewhere and I'm sure other cars are as well

'68-'72 A-body 2-door frames (except Monte Carlo and Grand Prix) are the same (might be some mild bracket, bolt hole differences). Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, wagon, and 4-door frames have a longer wheel base.
