What's the best frame finishing method??

Hey guys, I have a frame and I'm trying to do something more durable than powder coating and something I could possibly apply myself. I was gonna por 15 it and maybe do some type rubberiszed truck bed liner or something. What type of suggestions do you guys have? Thank you in advance guys!

POR15 is a poor choice. Blast it and apply 3 coats of black epoxy. I use SPI epoxy because it has built in UV protection.

An entertaining thread about POR-15:

I'm not recommending POR-15, but my experience with the product has been excellent. I think most of the bad reviews has to do with the lack of or poor surface prep. I applied it 12 years ago and it still looks like new.

I am currently redoing the undercarriage on my 69 Camaro and removing the POR-15 has been a pita, but the metal underneath is in great condition. However, this time around I want to try something different and intend to use Raptor bedliner
