1966 Chevelle biggest wheel setup?

Hey guys, what's the biggest wheel and tire setup I can do on my Chevelle with out doing tubs or suspension mod?

20x8.5-9 front and 20x11 rear possible ? I don't mind rolling fenders...

I had 20x9.5 on mine and it was really tight. Don't remember the tire size, sold the car last year.

I know guys are running 20x10 without any issues...

I had a 20x10 on my 72 without any issues and didn't have to roll the fenders. But, couldn't even tell you for a 66 though. IIRC, I ran a 275 tire too.

What about running a relocation and coilover kit like this

It's cheap and could possibly do the trick?

On my '67, I picked up some minitubs from ABC performance:

335/40ZR18 sounds really good.

Am still working on getting them installed.

Did you spot the thread at:

Would be very interesting to hear back what size shoes one can do with their kit.

Would save a ton of work on the old girl!
