LS Valve Cover Options

Guys, can y'all give me some other options on nice LS valve covers out there. Just give me some names and I'll take a look at them. To be quite honest, I've probably seen most of the ones you're gonna name, but would like to see if there are some names that I don't know about that I might like. I won't be rude and say that there are some ugly ones out there and that's why I'm asking for help. I will say that right now I'm leaning towards the LME ones, but they are very expensive and I also like the Don Hardy ones too which are slightly less expensive. But, before I buy something as ugly as some of the one's I've been seeing, I'd spend the extra coins.

Katech. :)

Not cheap, but really nice. And they make them in carbon fiber if you really want to get spendy...

I think I've already told you this, but I got mine from Scoggin Dickey and had them powder coated myself. Not sure if I saved any money this way, but Katech was out of stock at the time, so I didn't have a choice.

And I still may sell them once I finally get my engine back together and determine if the Holley's will work. Oh, and there are the Holley's also. ;) A lot cheaper, and look pretty good with the coils directly attached without the coil brackets.

Thanks Bryan, yeah I do like the Katech ones and true...they're always out of stock on the carbon fiber version. I've actually thought about doing the same thing, buying them and getting them coated myself. I forgot about the Holley ones. They're nice too. Thanks!!

We have quite a few on our site. People like the tall billet ones we get from Australia.

I've been looking at the Wegner Motorsport covers as you have the option about what you want on them and the script. I'd bet they are they one's that are making the Ring Brother covers as the look very similar.

Great timing Marcus. All I have left to purchase for my new engine build is valve covers, but man it makes my head spin looking at all of the options. I'm 99.9% sold on the Katech covers, done in black. I'm gonna go with the slotted ones, with a custom engraving done for me.
I had planned all along to just keep my stock covers on, and I even bought another set for this new engine, but with the adjustable rockers needed for my solid roller camshaft, the stockers don't fit. Hey, it's only money right?

One more option, the Mast valve covers:

Pretty good looking set of covers, although I'd prefer them without the logo...

If anybody wants to buy my Billet Specialties ones let me know, they are black. I'm not sure there the best for the track with the limited PCV
breathing, GW mentioned it here when he was building the Brizio car (32?) and they had problems with em. Mine have been fine for street driving and they fit perfect, they have about 4K trouble free miles on them. (I am getting a noise we haven't been able to find only at 4000RPM and in fourth gear (95+) which is why i want a more performance base VC. Been looking at Katech, and a few others....

The LME valve covers are very nice, seen them in person and really liked them. Def not a low cost option tho
