ARP rod bolts

I'm being told that there have been some issues with the ARP rod blots being used on stock connecting rods.
I'm having an LS7 assembled, stock except for cam upgrade

Indeed there has been issues. The increased clamping force from the ARP bolts will distort the big end. Some guys get away with using them without machine work, some don’t.

Ryan, in general it’s all engines...but...the LS engine craze is global, and because of the popularity of the engine AND the ability of this engine to respond so well to mods, they get tinkered with a LOT. So, the out of round conn rod big end shows up a lot with LS engines because everybody AND their brother has modded one, and many use the aftermarket rod bolts.
