WeatherPack seals - where to find them?
I am trying to find a small pack or kit of seals for the various weatherpack connectors. For example, the red or green ones below.
I have lost a couple from my wiring harness to the engine on TOW, and I want to replace them. I thought I could find a kit or variety pack of some sort with just seals, but all I find are the kits with the full connectors in them (which I don't need). Any suggestions? https://i.imgur.com/tz3a6jD.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JLIAJ2S.jpg |

What I'm looking for is a kit or pack that has multiple different ones, not just that specific 2-pin seal. But only has seals... For example, I need some 2-pin, some round 3-pin, a 1-pin, etc.
Perhaps the fact that I don't know the terminology for what I'm trying to find is why I am not having any Google luck. ;) |

http://www.whiteproducts.com/terminals-seals.shtml https://www.delcity.net/store/Connec...32809.h_733029 I see kits with small amounts of the individual wire seals but not the connector seals. |
I've used these extensively and have never seen the actual connector seals offered. The cable seal is easy to find - but not the larger seal that fits between the male and female plastic connection.
The beauty of using these is - with the proper tool - the connector with wire is easily disassembled and slipped in to a new 'connector'. In other words - don't be so cheap....   |

The link I sent is for the 2-pin seal. You can go back to Mouser catalog, and look for other type seals, and add to your order. Mouser's catalog is not very user friendly. But they have better prices out there. |
Not the seal by them selves, but Summit Racing has kits of all different sizes. And individual single connectors. I buy them from Atech the wholesale side of Summit racing.

There are many kits on Ebay that have the connector body, seals, terminals, etc. But as Greg mentions, the connector body seals are typically not sold as a separate item.
For a deep dive Google the Delphi Global Connections catalog. In it are many of the standard WeatherPack, MetriPack, GT, and other series of connector systems. There's a bunch of the older style GM connectors and terminals as well that come in handy when working with older wiring harnesses. $0.02 advice: Pick a connector system and try to stay with it. For example, if a late model engine retrofit is in the plans, that connector system for many of the attachment points is the GT series. Since GT is totally different than WP, that's just more stuff to have. After making a list of parts check Waytek and Mouser. Waytek typically has better prices but a limited offering. With Mouser the datasheet can be found on the Delphi site, which can be very handy to determine if the male connector will fit with the female connector. Just because it's a four-pin GT280 male connector does not mean that it will fit the GT280 female. The datasheet is your friend. A good crimping tool is worth every penny as well, and Waytek has a pretty good $25 blue handle version. I use it for cases where the $400 version won't work. |
