1966 chevelle question
Alright I am trying to get in contact with the owner of the car posted down below. I plan to do the same thing with my wheels and run the weld rts line of wheels. I have found out the wheels are 18x10 in the rear and 18.95 in the front. What I am trying to figure out is the backspace they are running on these wheels. I will be running the same suspension setup as they are. Does anyone have any information on these?

Does the front Baer brake kit change the wheel track? If so, do you know that measurement? |
USAZR1 is right..... rent or borrow or purchase (and then sell afterwards) a wheel fitment tool, rims and tires are expensive enough let alone when a oops is made .

You can make one of these out of angle aluminum and then make a "mock-up" tire out of plywood or hardboard.
Set the offsets on the wood and adjust. The angle bolts to the lug nuts... As an alternative you can use threaded rod instead of wood. |
excellent suggestion , forgot to mention it may sound dumb but , I've seen people forget to do this .... cycle the suspension and, turn the wheels left to right while cycling the suspension to make sure everything clears
