Baer Pro Plus Question

Hey Guys -

I am building my 68 Camaro and I have a question about the Baer pro plus brakes. I will have all speedtech suspension, 18" wheels (295 Front / 315 Rear) and an LS 3. The plan for this car is weekend canyon cruising, autocross and occasional road coarse. Ideally, I would like to to the LS Fest Vegas each year.

I would like to hear from you guys that use their cars as I have stated above and are using the Pro Plus brakes. The Extreme would be nice but I am not sure that I really need them. I have contemplated Going Extreme front and pro plus rear but again, not sure this is necessary.

I appreciate any information from you guys running the Pro Plus.

Thanks in advance.

Given your intended use, I don’t feel like it takes a crazy braking system to make these old 3300-ish lb old Camaros stop well, particularly when you have 245+ front tires. I have the Baer GT brakes which are just a rebadged C6 Corvette caliper with 13” rotors and I feel like it has all the braking I need. More is better of course, but I wouldn’t worry about the Pro Plus being insufficient in any way. Size the master cylinder properly and you’ll be impressed, I know I was.

6P's are great when coupled with 9" dual booster and 1-1/8" MC. No need to run 6S's for your plan
