Street legal drags/car show Stockton,ca Oct 7th
 

The Old Kingdon raceway that has been closed since 1978 is reopening for a all day 7am to 7pm car show and drag racing. Full 1/4 mile with all timing devices. Should be great fun ! Wow! That sounds cool! Lots of history there.

If I recall it is mostly a general aviation airport nowadays.

I hope that the word gets out and a lot of folks turn out for it...:thumbsup:

Should be a ton of fun. if it turns out well they plan to run an event every other month.

Had a great day today! Weather was perfect and car ran real good for its first time out. Ran the car twice today. First was a black 2004 Z06 405HP. I hooked up quite a bit better than him and put some serious lenths on him through the lights. Probably 8-10. Next was a 2005 SRT-8 Hemi 300C 425HP model. Booth got off pretty good and same outcome for him...at least 10 lenghts! I was pretty stoked. Motor only has maybe 100 miles or so on her.
All in all killer day!
