Lug Nuts: what're all the cool kids using?

1 Attachment(s)
Looking for some open ended lug nuts for the rear of my car and it's crazy how much time I've spent looking for something. I love the looks of the NRG Innovations below but just can't bring myself to put aluminum lug nuts on a vehicle! I'd even be open to double stacking a better looking lug nut on top of the acorn style nuts I've got on there now. I'd prefer something open ended but wanna see what other guys are running. My current setup is:
DSE Quadralink
3" studs
Forgeline ZX3P Wheels

Why do all the cool lug nuts have to be aluminum and metric!:hairpullout:

Those look nice! I'll have to look into them.

I'm sure they work fine but I'm still timid on the aluminum lug nuts myself.

I went with Gorilla lug's, they're open ended and forged steel. If you're happy with black then I think these are pretty damn good.

Those Gorilla ones are the best option I've seen.

This is timely. I'm going to change the lug nuts out on my BMW. I'm glad to hear Gorilla's black lug nuts are good.

I tried a few driffrent styles, open and closed. I ended up with the gorilla black open ended as well.

I just recently posted these to the PT.com forum also, but I originally discovered these through a post by Steilow here in LG. I've used them for a few years not and been really happy with them. They are long and have a knurled end, so they are easy to get started on the studs when you have a deep hole in the wheel.

The ultimate lug nuts? The most expensive to be sure.
I have them on my CTSV with Finspeed rims and Raptor with HRE's (why not, I ruined the truck anyway) They will make just about anything.

So after much deliberation and searching, I found some lug nuts that I think I can live with for the rear wheels. For perspective, I'm running a Quadralink with the typical 1/2-20 wheel stud, 3" in length. It's easy to find aluminum lug nuts to fit in a variety of colors and configurations but I wanted a steel lug nut and preferred not to spend upwards of $100 to get 10 of them if possible. While these aren't splined like the NRG's that I love the looks of, they do check all the boxes. These are called Circuit lug nuts and this is the "hyper black" finish, whatever that means. It's basically a gun metal color and the cost was about $38 for 20 delivered to my door (including a 17mm socket). Just thought I'd share...they look darker in the pic then they really are.
