LS9/T56 Magnum problem

I purchased a LS/9 crate motor about 4 years ago with all the parts listed in the GM Performance catalog. I am finally mocking up the engine in a Speedtech pro-touring subframe and encountered a problem coupling the T56 Magnum to the engine using the GM supplied scatter shield. I have the double disc clutch (24260226), bell housing (19329620), hydraulic throw out bearing (24264182) and t56 magnum (19329795). The problem I have is the end of the splined input shaft bottoms out on the pilot bearing and the sleeve portion of the hydraulic clutch that the throw out bearing slides on bottoms against the second clutch disc. I am about 9/16 of an inch from the transmission and bell housing coming together. Has anyone experienced this and what solution might you suggest to remedy this? Really frustrated. Thanks in advance.

All GM LS clutches are 26 spline input shaft so that isn't the issue....

T56 Magnum needs to run the '98-02 style Fbody pilot bearing.... not the Corvette. I'm guessing that's the issue.

I had similar issue i think we had to remove the new style (ls7) pilot bearing and had to install the older style 98 F body that is much more recessed into the crank.
