How to repair this?
So I banged up a rim yesterday. It's the rear passenger side wheel. It's a 17" x 8" rim, and it's made of billet aluminum.

Is this something I can fix myself? Someone told me use some wood and a slesgehammer to bang it out again... Or should I buy a new one? They're only $447.70. |
Do a search under wheel repair on the web. There are a ton of them out there. You may contact Boyds about re-hooping it for you?...
I wouldn't try to bang that back out without the correct equipment. All you will end up doing is egg-shaping the rim and making it near to un-usable... Mark |
