Need help with XRP Pro Plus hose

I recently bought some XRP Pro Plus teflon lined hose and fittings. I have never assembled this type of hose end before and could use a little direction. I am not able to find any directions online either. I know the olive slides over the tubing under the braid but does it slide down all the way? Thanks in advance

Thanks, That ferrule definitely looks the same as the XRP but it does not say how far it gets pushed on

The ferrule should have a lip on the inside that will bottom out on the cut edge of the ptfe

Yep! I usually use a sharp razor blade to cut the end of the teflon liner and make sure it's straight and perpendicular to the hose if needed after cutting the hose. That edge and the inside end of the ferrule is where it seals.

I thought there would be a stop or a seat also but there is not

The ferrule should be open on one end, and flat and slightly smaller on the other. The open end goes on the end of the teflon liner until it stops; the smaller flat end won't let it go any further. It should only go one way. Otherwise we need a pic of what you're dealing with.

Thanks for the help everyone it's appreciated. There is no step or seat on the inside of the ferrule / olive. I've used Aeroquip teflon lined hose and thiers has a seat. This does not you can literally slide in down as far as you would like. I think I may have found a XRP contact number hopefully I can get them to answer

I've used a lot of XRP hose and fittings, but never the teflon lined type. The "olive" (ferrule) is different than any I've used before. I did find instructions for XRP teflon hose here:

https://goodvibesracing.com/Technica...ONHOSEASSY.PDF

Looks like once everything is pushed into the hose end fully the ferrule will be drawn in and locked into the correct position when the hose end is tightened in assembly.
