FINSPEED - No response
I am (was) interested in their wheels, but I have not got any response from them. I have called 5 times, left messages and no one has answered the phone or returned my call from voicemail. I have also left a message via their contact page on website.
I have been trying to contact them for two weeks. I guess I will move on. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is something up with them or maybe someone has contact there that can inform them. I am not impressed with their customer service. Not a good start when trying to purchase their product. |
Sent you a PM with contact info. They are having some issue's with phones/website

Mark S. turned me on to Finspeed for my 69. Daniel the owner was great, great facility tour, and my wheels were done before promised date. Love my Finspeed wheels. He also opened the facility for me afterhours on a Saturday evening.

I have seen a reduction or delay in responses from many vendors, local and national. Short staffed due to inability to hire good workers, people working from home without all the resources of the office, people not supervised at home so they don't get as much done.
Alot more time spent in Zoom meetings to discuss things that would have taken only a minute in person with a co-worker. Email volume has increase exponentially in the last year. I have to make time more often to go thru and delete and look for ones I need to respond to. Emails get buried in the volume. I have had to resend tax info to vendors we have used for years, some long enough ago that we mailed the info to them and they have it in a file cabinet at work that they can't access at home. I occasionally have to temper my desire to dump a long time vendor and realize that customer service is not the way it was a few years ago. The people moving up in the ranks of these vendors do not have the same emphasis on customer service. I think it is a time to have a more than normal amount of patience in dealing with vendors. |
The economy is over heated and that can also effect the number of clients a business has interest in serving. Sometimes it just makes more sense to turn the business away vs. try to hire and deal with the additional headaches. It comes down to the values of the individual business.

Not to mention the dramatic cost increase and lack of availability of blocks of billet aluminum.

I spoke to Stacy @Finspeed and she was very apologetic and informed there were issues with their phone and website. I understand about delays due to Covid, metals hard to get, etc. I think its a product of the world we live in currently.
I was just a bit taken back that two weeks, several calls and web message with no reply. Can speak for everyone else but when I am looking to spend 5k or even less, I want to be sure everything is good to go and customer service & communication is the key. It definitely made me a bit apprehensive, but all is good now. Just an FYI, Finspeed cannot machine 19x12 with 5.5" bs for a one piece wheel. The backspacing is the issue. |
