Advice on suspension adjustments
Took the Javelin out for the first autocross last weekend. Someone posted a pic that shows the inside rear tire off the ground during hard cornering. What type of adjustments, if any, should I be looking at?

In a vacuum, just dealing with that one problem, and without seeing the picture...... would be just a guess.
Post the picture and give some driving impressions of what you think the car is doing and how it feels. |
Like Donny said, it's a wild arse guess without more data but considering that I've dealt with that same issue for a long time...I may have a few ideas.
Usually it's some sort of too much rear roll resistance picking up the inside rear. Either too much rebound in the rear shocks or the rear sway bar is too stiff. The body wants to roll, the rear suspension is trying to stop it and it lifts the inside rear tire. I finally fixed my car from doing that but adding a ton more front roll resistance in the form of a huge front sway bar...which kept the whole body from rolling as much. |
