Water pump for LS3
I'm trying to unclutter as much of the engine bay in my current build as possible. I'm running the usual LS3 and only accessories I'm going to be running of the crank are the alternator and the water pump. I just don't like how the stock pump looks. Do I have any after alternatives?

Besides going to a billet electric pump, I've seen adapters that allow a big block Chevy pump to be installed on an LS.
https://www.jegs.com/i/Moroso/710/63...QaAmvPEALw_wcB I found a billet water pump for the LS that moves the thermostat to the top, but it's quite pricy. Comes in black or silver. https://i0.wp.com/www.fakesengineeri...10%2C340&ssl=1 |
Thanks Jody! The one in the pic looks like something I could use. How much is it and where can I learn more about it?

I'll tell how Im doing this, for another reaaons but kind of same thing.
I need to loose the stock water pump. Dont have room for it. So I machined boltable blocking plate and I will machine "tower" for guide pulley to be bolted, welded or threaded when I know where and how long. So I can play with belt rounting. Running BMW Piesrburg electric pwm pump. |

Again easy with LS, aftermarket support is huge.
Try to build something out of Viper engine. Had to make it yourself.. still need to countersink all the bolts. |
