Suggestions to fix P0016 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation

Long story short.

Engine is 2008 TBSS LS2 (with LS3 heads, LS9 cam, LSA supercharger), harness is GMPP LS2 controller kit harness, ECM is 2009 CTS-V.

Immediately after writing new tune it runs perfect for a few seconds then starts spitting/sputtering, then dies.

code thrown P0016 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation

Tried to do crank relearn, don't know if i completed it, didnt see anything saying it was successful.

Cam sensor is new, & is correct for CTS-V.

Suggestions/help...please.

More info.

If I put a GMPP E67 ECM, it runs without any errors.

I have added stuff that the GMPP ECM can't control, needed to use a production unit.

is the cts v ecm new, or used? could be corrupt tune when loaded into ctsv ecm, have you tried writing stock tune in, then retune with modded tune. also unless engine was at operating temp, you cant run a cam crank relearn.

Refurbished unit newly flashed with CTS-V OS. I have about concluded it is because of a difference in the GMPP harness/ECM VS production ECM. I tried a third production ECM & it didn't work either.

I have the CTSV pin outs for the E67 if you want them to compare to the GMPP pin outs that I could send you tomorrow.

I'm using a GMPP harness on my LSA with an 09 CTSV E67 and have had to move a few pins around.

Getting the P0016 code with the GMPP ECM now, so must be something in the car/engine? Suggestions before pulling front of the motor off? I have checked wiring. Cam sensor is new GM unit, maybe bad?

What about the crank sensor?

I have thought about that. Haven't touched it since before the cam swap, so doubted it was because of it. P0016 seems to be more Cam sensor/cam position related. But thinking I may swap it out first, before tearing front of the motor off to see if chain jumped a spot or more. It runs, just not good, spits/sputters backfires through exhaust once in a while.
