Auto Trans Big Block

What transmission with overdrive will work with a big block in a 69? Anybody running a auto/overdrive in a pro touring combo camaro? I am thinking about the auto instead of the six speed. Thanks.

A 4L60e will do real well unless you make over 5-600 hp. If you are planning more get a 4L80e. They can be built to take BIG power.

The previously mentioned trans are good option. I'm running a built 2004R which I am pretty happy with.
