Rodd's '69 Camaro Convertible Hardtop
Just finished version 2.0 of this car. We originally finished and debuted at SEMA 2018. The customer wished he would've started with a coupe but we lost the vote to build a whole new car. It came back this year to build a removable hard top looking as close to a coupe as possible, as well as make some stereo upgrades and install a Holley 12.3" dash. It was a nerve-racking project fabricating the top on a painted car but got it done. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...97394e6b8a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f84e13b725.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...56e21e64d3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6a77190ad2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cea05e6724.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...43c27bd76a.jpg

Some fab shots of the process. Used an AMD 69 coupe roof skin and 2016 Camaro roof skin on top, then fabbed to rest.

Great work!

Bad to the bone!!

That is impressive. The fact that you did it on a PAINTED car is incredible. I'm afraid to do the littlest things on my car and scratch it. Just so well executed.
