Hotchkis Handlebars 1st Gen

Why don't you see more cars with the Hotchkis Handlebars? Do they not provide anything? Are they not worth the money and effort? I bought a used set at a good price and installed a middle adjuster and taller ends to clear my valve covers. Can't really say if they helped anything or not.

I can see the benefit more on a unibody when they are mounted on the shock tower as they reduce flex... but in your case they look cool and can't hurt.

If you are road racing the car hard I would see how it helps to strengthen the car. For street duty don't see what it would do for you, beyond look nice.

I used a set on my wife’s 69 convertible. They eliminated the dreaded convertible cowl shake. I had to modify them to clear the LS3 intake manifold.
