Looking for something "different" SBC intake
 

Small Block Chevy intake/carbs, I'm looking for something different and unique. Cross ram, 6 pack, 8 stack EFI, I really like the Holley Tri-Power 3x2 Intake and Carburetor Kits 300-522SA but they say it won't work with the 700R4 TV cable

I would think you could make a linkage arm that would work.

That's what I was thinking.. especially since I had TCI make it a constant pressure valve body so the TV cable is now just for shift points.

It's either make your own linkage or swap to a 4L60E with a standalone controller.

I don't have any input on different intakes that are available. With that said, there's just something awesome about an EFI 8 stack to me.

100% agree with you, love an 8 stack but my bank account doesn't.. lol
single 4bbl is boring on a open front street rod. I did find a polished Air gap dual 4 intake that I might pick up Saturday. 2 x 4bbls are a little cooler than a single.

Rich Bermea hasn’t been on here for a while (aka Cross Ram Rich), but I noticed he is on facebook. He might be able to help.

I'm certain TCI or one of the other top companies could coach you on the linkage and what the pieces would need to look like...

That being said, how about a tunnel ram with a pair of old boxy Predators that have been gutted and injectors added....:D

I've thought about a 2x 4bbl system but not necessarily a tunnel ram, maybe a pair of Holley Snipers on Edelbrock RPM Air Gap
