We're getting swarmed with bots lately

Made a lot of changes to hopefully help a lot. I'm not seeing issues now, but if you do:

On Windows, Ctrl + F5 is used to perform a hard refresh of a webpage, which forces the browser to reload the page and its resources from the server, bypassing the browser's cache.

I’m a mod over on LS1Tech and we are seeing an amazing amount of bots, for the last couple years really. It’s unbelievable.

They don't post as they can't get registered, but they clog up the server. I've seen near 300K on the site sometimes.
