My corvette is finally rolling
After a lot of work building the suspension and other stuff I finally have a rolling frame. Sure took my long enough building it all from scratch. It now has a completely home built suspension all around, 4 corner coil overs, front and rear double a arm independant suspension and a front steering end take off rack an pinion. Still lots more to do though.

Hello Marck!!
Looks good !! Congratulations  You did it before me.. I might get my front end finally UNDER the car tomorrow. I let you know more later. Heres a pic of my set up. ( i have no means to hijack your threat) http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...i/DSC06825.jpg |
whoa joni, I love those spindles...are those c4 hubs? Did you design and machine those yourself?
|
Hello Marck!!
Thank you for your nice words. I really apreciate it from you. I cant take the credit from machine and desing work. My friend helped me and we desing em together. They have same geometry than later C4s do . Yes the hubs are from C4 too. For starters i am going to use GS brakes. But as you see from pictures the brake bracket can be easily bolted off and re made for bigger brakes in futute. Ps i got mine on wheels too this evening. And even "drove" it an inch !!! I dont have my steering arms done yet. |
Nice work on those spindles! :hail:
