This is my dad's project that i'm helping with at the moment. It's a 350/700R combo that knocks down 20mpg on the power tour every year. It's almost a dialy driver for him at the moment. Just got his new subframe for the front in this week. It is getting mini-tubbed this winter. Trying to talk him into some 17 & 18" rally's from Wheel Vintiques. He's almost convinced.

Does anyone know what this front subframe kit does for handling? He didn't want to pop for the tubular upper arms yet so I'll try to get mom to get them for him for Christmas. Anybody else here got one of these installed?

There are entire threads devoted to this kit. Big improvement in handling considering the price of the kit. You'll be able to keep an alignment too.
