Very Cool!

Is he having to rev. match the gearbox to complete clean shifts up or down?

Is this for a straight cut box?

That's a great video to watch as it goes though the motions. It's also very hard to explain to someone how to do it, and this video shows you.

Ty...He is doing it when he downshifts in order to raise RPM's but all the while he has the brakes on, keeping the suspension loaded where it is. If he had just downshifted without the throttle blip it would have unloaded the suspension. I'm sure others can explain it better.

I really needy to get good at heel-toe

If I wanted to do it like he did in the video, I'd need to strap a chunk of 2x4 to my heel in order to reach my gas pedal. :( But, I heel & toe in my daily driver all the time.

what we need is for someone to make a revised brake pedal that is closer to the gas pedal, I was thinking of taking the stock one cutting it, and offsetting it to the side closer to the gas pedal, but to be honest I don't trust myself hacking on something like the brake pedal. If someone could cast a new one with a better offset, it would make heel/toe way easier on these older cars. I do it as a regular practice in everday driving in my nissan Z, the pedals are pretty close. SOmetimes its hard to brake really hard when your foot is on both the gas and brake though

Keith, same pedal setup in my car compared to yours and I can "heel-toe" but I have to use the side of my foot rather than my heel and toe. LOL.

I use the left half of the ball of my right foot on the brake and "roll" my ankle over to the right so I can use the other half of the foot to blip the gas. I did have to play with the gas & brake pedal heights to be able to do this. What I really need to do is make a new gas pedal that's a bit lower and closer to the brake pedal, it would make things much easier.

Also, I'd feel MUCH safer modding the gas pedal to be in a better position than modding the brake pedal & bracket-- if the revised gas pedal were to break it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Can't say the same if the brake pedal busted on you...
