The best site for Impala SS info
http://www.impalassforum.com/ Impala SS Club of America I'd recommend a good cold air intake, tri-y headers, catback exhaust, and PCM reprogramming for starters. If you want to make it the most fun you've ever had......put a T56 in it. :unibrow: :D Add some suspension upgrades and you will really fall in love with it. You can't ever go wrong by installing a good bumpstick. LT-1's sound great with a lope at idle.

The Impalas have steel heads, put a set of camaro or vette heads on it.and a cam is going to must a Comp CC503 is agreat all round street cam for a stock Lt1

You can also check out this site to compare many different variations of Impala's from mild to very wild. :unibrow:

:willy: WOW thanks for the great response, i got some 2f inch 3r inch drops springs, bilstein shocks, getting sway bars throwing some bigger wheels on it first. After that i want to make it at least 450rwhp
Having a t56 would be sick i could use parts off the camaro and make it look good on the inside to im thinking... It sucks cuz it about to be winter and i have no garage right now but i got a cover lol... Any opinions on a good gear to throw in the back? http://www.cusstom.com/gallery/data/...icture_131.jpg Found this nice one on the net same suspensio im getting looks pretty mean! |
Im driving a 96 TA lt1 vortex blower 5 psi and nos kit I make 490 rwhp with everything esle stock (throttle body, injectors, exhaust, pcm, everything stock)with 130k I've put 70 k on it with the blower and running the nos for 2 years. The car runs 11.40's at 123 full weight.stock gear 342's and im crossing the line at 5700 rpm

Loyd Elliot and Bret Bruer will get you at the 400rwhp NA for a reasonable amount. Nothing like a matched custom cam and heads.
