Painting Bumpers
 

Is there a trick or method to painting the bumpers on a Camaro to look like aluminum or brushed stainless? I sectioned the rear bumper and welded up the mounting bolts to look smooth. I hate to have the bumpers re-chromed, only to scotch brite them to look brushed. Any suggestions?

you should be able to get them powdercoated to look like brushed alum. check with your local powdercoater. Atleast the one here told me they could do it.
