Throttled
 

Hey guys. I was wondering what advantages a throttle cable would have over the stock mechanical system i have on my 67 camaro? would it be worth it to switch?

I'd stay mechanical but upgrade to rod ends on the link going to the carb. Throttle cables can bind or the jackets can melt. (scene it in racing) Mech. seems more trouble free.

Just curious - do Camaros have a rod linkage?

I just put a Lokar cable in my Vette last weekend. The cables are stainless steel (no melting) and are lined with teflon, so they really slide smoothly. Vettes had cables originally though.
