Wheel question

Alright, I am curious to know, The offset and bolt pattern are correct for what you need on a rwd car, but.....the wheel is designed for a fwd. Does it really matter? Application is irrelevant. Just want to know if it can be done.

If offset and and bolt pattern is what you need, then I'd say go for it. I believe there's another car on our site that has done that.

Seems like car manufactures keep pushing the wheel mounting locations outward on rwd cars to be similar to those of fwd cars. I believe the further out (the more backspacing) a wheel has which in turn the farther out from the center of the car the hubs are the better the car handles. So, basically, yes alot of fwd wheels have the correct dimensions to fit rwd cars as well. I know when I had my fwd Grand Prix, the popular thing to do was to put late model Mustang Bullitt style wheels on them.
