Holy cow your working fast!!! When do you plan to have the car done?

Looks good RR, It looks like you have a Fla car there. Gotta love the southern climate! When I lived in Canada and Michigan we would have given our right arm not to have to replace everything from the rain gutters down. Now when I walk around Pick-A-Parts there are so many cars that could be brought back with just a good sanding.

When I started the Pinto project I took EVERY bolt off the body ,scraped until I was blue in the face and trucked it down to Long Beach to be dipped.

Its amazing when you get them back and there is NO particle left on the thing. I had them dip it in Epoxy primer right after and it did not have a drip or a sag on it! It was almost ready for paint at that point.

When I get the chassis fully mocked up I may take it back to them to have it re-dipped since it has some surface rust on the tubing and where I altered it.

Very cool! You are making some big progress. Let's see....

-finish stripping the paint
-block and fill obvious dings.
-metal etch/prime, etc.
-guide coat and long block the whole car SEVERAL TIMES.
-Pull doors/trunks, etc. and jam paint them in.
-Yank the suspension, etc.
-Tape off jams and go to paint.
-Paint all suspension, etc.
-Reassemble
-Wire harness, trim
-Interior
-Alignment, final fit, glass, etc.

Slap it in gear and nail the throttle just in time to catch the 2005 Power Tour!!!!!!!!!!!
