I found this thread over at PY. I know there are a lot of Pontiacs on this site and thought I would pass along the link. If you have one of the MR-1 blocks you will want to read this.

I saw that post. Me and my brother are building a '69 GTO and almost went with one of those blocks. Glad I went with the IA II block instead.

Ya I was dreaming of someday going that way myself. I hope they can get it sorted out. I hate to see this happen. The Pontiacs really have never had the after market options like some other brands I hate to see one go away.
