New member and new project
Hi all, I've been a lurker for a while. I've had a 68 mustang coupe since I was 13 and last week I found a solid 68 fastback to become a new project.

Most of the details are still undecided, but here's what I'm thinking so far: Classic lines, no shelby clone here 60's eggshell white w/ black int 427 windsor block TKO 600 Strange 9" coilover front discs all around what do you think, any ideas? |
looks like a good starting point man, im a chevy guy till the end but i do like those fastbacks

Welcome, Jeremy. Looks like the perfect victim for the treatment. Keep the pics coming.

Nice to see another mustang among all these camaros. Good luck.

yeah, it almost seems like every camaro ever built is on here. In a few years every camaro ever built will be a pro touring car. :D Except for the thousands that are already pro street. :D

Nice project.. gotta ask.. how much for the fastback?
I was looking but they were all crazy priced.. What are ya going to do for suspension? I would suggest looking at the Chris Alston Total Control stuff.. Welcome to the site  |
One of the most beautiful bodies Detroit ever made. Keep us posted on progress!

nice find...and I thing your plans thus far are real solid. Looking forward to seeing some progress pics.

The RRS setup changes the front to a strut type system, while the others retain the upper/lower control arm setup. With TCP or GW, I'll have to source V8 spindles, the RRS kit comes w/ new spindles. I've got a lot more research to do before I make my decision |
You are so lucky to find such as car! Ive always wanted one of these fastbacks but they seem so hard to find (in good rust free shape). Keep us posted.
