Reproduction Hood Hinges Any good?

Has anyone tried the reproduction hood hinges that are on the market. I think my 68 firebird needs new ones. GM are 99.00 each repro are 39.00 each.

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for the GM hinges........Been there.....The repo stuff is junk.......

The repros will work, but they are pretty flimsy. We picked up a pair for the car to use as modification templates. They were definitely better than the 38 year olds ones on the car.

I never bought the repo's I went out and bought the GM ones. They are perfect.
