Bad Gas Milage
 

I just bought a 1970 Camaro with a 383. i dont know all the details about the car because i bought the car while being deployed overseas. from what the original owner tells me the car is just over 500hp. i was wondering if anyone has any cheap ways to boost my fuel economy being that my car is about 8 hours away from my base. i looked at efi systems but i cant afford the 2500 right now. any suggestions?

EFI is the simplest,overdrive tranny,what are especting for gas milage a 500hp carbed motor isn't going to get 20 miles to gallon.
