Connie got a makeover!
4 Attachment(s)
A few of you know I have been working on my '67 Chevelle "Conestoga" wagon for awhile. It's made great progress functionally, but never really looked that good (much like it's owner).
Well...that's all changed now. "Connie" got a makeover, with some '60s style. This is exactly the way I envisioned the car looking, and I can't wait to see it buffed out with all the trim back in place...and maybe the windows, too. The colors are factory '67 for the car...but the configuration is my own idea. There are some other '60s-era styling touches that will accompany the paint, and it should work as a 'package' when it's all together. Theme-wise, think "Speed Shop Parts Runner" or "Tow Vehicle for a Shelby Cobra, circa 1968 or so..." I'm stoked...! ~SP~ |
Nice project!!! My '67 Elky started it's life with the color gold that you have as your top color. Can't wait to see more pictures!!

Yes - the scallops/stripes are black with red pinstripes on the edges. The black and the red both look good with the gold and the off-white... |
Car look great. great combos.

Nice color combo. Can't wait to see what it looks like in clear coat and finish detail.

Very cool! :) My wife's 66 chevelle wagon is 2-toned very similar, with factory 66 greens.

Great color choice!! Please post some pics of it after you finish assembling.

Nice!
