Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
It was baseline track test day..
http://www.lifeinwidescreen.com/siihp/wee.jpg I think it could use a bit stiffer suspension.. lol I don't think I'm supposed to give the data out but lets just say it didn't break 1g - the braking was on par with four wheel manual brakes and I would have to do weight reduction to get into the 16s.. lol Actually it didn't do too bad through the cones time wise.. owe that to the Nitto tires. Now, let the modding begin.. |
LOL!!!Looks like fun.

Oh, I got lazy and was running behind so I didn't re-check all the lug nuts with a torque wrench. A shop was supposed to have did em down to 80 ft-lbs.
After a couple cone passes we found a lug on the ground with a stud still in it. The drivers side back wheel was barely on the car. The passengers side was loose as well. Both fronts were fine since I did those myself when I cut the coil. Moral of the story.. NEVER forget to safety check you car EVERY time you hit the track. Don't count on others to do it since it's your ass on the line. back wheel coming off could have been a bad deal when going through the cones or in the skidpad.. So ends my public service announcement :) |
Right now it should be called "Project Dramamine" lol

Great Pics! You really get an idea of how bad the front it moving around. Good luck on improving it all, can't wait to see the finished product.
