lateral dynamics (Mark) has a pretty cool LS7 tank for first gens as well. fits where the battery used to go. Steilow used the GM tank and fabbed it into the car. |
Actually, Mark's tank is a circle track product. I can't remember the brand though.
Rick's Hot Rod Shop has an LS7 tank for 1st Gens, give Hector a call and he can give you some info. |
scott, could you find out who's and how many quarts it holds?? most of the circle track ones i have seen are like 14 qts and fairly tall.

also pay attention to the tank shape. I am not saying that Marks (Lateral Dynamics) won't work, but GM was unable to develop a squared off tank that would work in cornering and high rpms. They wanted to use it for packaging concerns, but hey ended up with a cylindrical tank, only shape that did what they wanted.

Jake, I believe he told me 8 quarts.

yeah, you better make sure it has good baffeling if its sqaure, all race dry sump tanks are cylinders,, i gotta measure my dry sump tank
any other pics or info, keep it coming jake |
Stielow used a Peterson Fluid Systems 2 gal tank for his LS7 install along with our oil pan. We sell the tanks if you need some info on them.
