Anybody running SPC control arms
 

I was looking for some input on the spc upper control arms, I like the fact they are fully adjustable and was thinking of them for S-Curve project. Anyone have hands on experience with them, pros cons?

I have them, and love them. :thumbsup: Some minor grinding on the UCA mount gusset is required (minimal effort) but they are great arms and only about 2/3 the price of GW or Hotchkis :cool:

Derek where did you buy yours? did you go with the steel ones, I was thinking steel for the street. I ended up just going with some b body spindles and baer hubs They have not got here yet I expect them any day the brakes have already arrived. I had a few complications around the shop so I had a couple week set back on getting Scott stuff in for the pages. Ill have that taken care of this week.

I got mine through SC&C ( www.scandc.com ). Mine have the steel bushings, and are not the lightweight versions (cheapest ones).

I'm not a big fan of the B-body spindle... I don't know if you've researched it much, but the location of the steer arm doubles the factory bumpsteer, slows the steering ratio, widens the turning radius, and messes up the ackerman. They can be found cheap, and places like GW and Hotchkis still sell them as their premium spindles, but there are way better options available now. I'd rather see the money spent on fixing the geometry the right way, than go toward something purely aesthetic, like bigger wheels.

The price was good and fit the budget, actually we are way under budget, and I would like to keep it that way we will get some hidden costs, and after the car is finished we will do a comparison to other products on the market so I decided it was a start, why start with the best then we have no comparison with product. So I decided the entry guy would do the b-spindle then go from there after the budget car is built, I am putting on the baer trackers for the test on the car, Thanks Derek you have always given great input on this and the pages will start showing some build on it soon other than just renderings
