offset shackles

Hello, I have a 67 camaro with hotchkis leafs in the rear and I was wanting to put a 17x10" or 18x10" wheel and have it as low as possible without doing the full minitub. I know that I will have to modify my tank. Also what backspace should I run, Would this be a good idea? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!

most use a 5.5" b.s. You do not have to modify your tank.

I just ordered my 18x10's a few days ago. I dont need to do anything to the tank or shackles. But you will need to roll or trim your fender lips and possibly "massage" your inner wheel wells. I went with 5.75" backspacing.
Check out Rybar's Camaro on this site.
