LQ9 Question

On the back of the block, there is a place for a tranny bolt. But it is cast solid. Can you drill and tap it?

I don't think so I think it gets into and oil/water passage

no Phil, I think you end up into the water jacket and/or cylinder. Just use 5 bolts, works fine.

I figured there was a reason for a missing bolt hole.
