Light at the end of tunnel getting brighter.

Finally after a year and a half I was able to take my car for a quick test spin. Now working out a few kinks. I still need to paint the car. After all the suspension mods etc, i wanted to thrash the car around awhile and not fear any road chips etc.

That is one sweet car. I see a lot the good stuff throughout. I also read your post about Paul at Hydratech and how well the brakes work.
Congrats on getting to drive it. Any more pictures? :D |

Nice car, looks great!

Looking good, man!! What's the support bar going between the fenders, like a strut-tower brace?
|
thanks for the kind words guys. Its finally coming together, but a few more kinks to work out.
I fabricated a bar and tied it into the fender support braces. I don't know how much it helps with stiffness, but I figured it couldn't hurt and I also thought it looked cool, plus it didnt take long to do. I have more pics, however they are a higher resolution. I didnt think I was going to get these pics small enough. I will take some more and send to Scott. BTW Scott, I know we had spoke before about weighing our cars. I plan to scale it very soon (hopefully in the next 2 weeks.) I am curious on much difference on front to rear weight and also want to know the cross-weight as well. Once I do scale it, I will post the figures with/without driver. Thanks again guys. Reading posts on this site and seeing all the awesome cars on this site, has continued to give me the motivation necessary to continue. |
