Extrude Honed Banks TT Manifolds
Talked to Rick Miller at SEMA and he was eager to do these. Got them back today. They cleaned up amazingly well. 26% increase in flow according to their data. Hard to photograph much of it to show the inside surfaces but you can get the general idea by looking at the larger inner surface areas near the turbo flanges.. The entire interior surface area looks like this. Thanks Rick for a job well done. -Rob

www.gethoned.com Call Rick Miller at: 724-396-1512 (that's his cell#) He is a great guy, he will take care of you. You can get a general idea on pricing from the website, but call Rick. email [email protected] -Rob |
I used the same company back in the 80's for a jetski I had. Idea is simple and the results are great.

not to ruin the thread.. but id really like how much it cost! from the look of their price sheet it looks to be about 1000 bucks for a pair??
|
My guess is $1K for the pair would be about right. I paid $500 (I think) to extrude hone my intake base a couple years ago and it would be much simpler than doing those Banks manifolds. Same outfit did my intake and his manifolds.
Was it worth it? Definitely, picked up something like 28 cfm per runner vs. "as cast." |
I think if you discuss your application with Rick you may be pleasantly surprised with the pricing.
As I said in my previous post, you can get a general idea on pricing from the website, but if you are really serious about getting it done, contact Rick. |
reason i ask is that ive just bought a pair of schwartz TT manifolds and im wondering if its worth doubling the cost of the manifolds.. i meas they should be able to deliver enough boost to make 1200 hp, so what is the gain per dollar?? and will it be better spent elsewhere?
