in-car camera
So has anybody played around with doing in-car video's? What sort of camera mount are you using? Thanks!

handheld digicam...
http://www.pro-touring.nl/camaro/martinscamaro1.wmv sort of okay for straight line...... (closed circuit, professional stuntdriver etc. disclaimer:D ) you could of course just tape it to the dash or something..... |
I've done a handheld video myself and it wasn't very good....
http://www.artmorrison.com/video/ind...o=cacruise.mpg It gets the point across, but I am just wondering who has had luck with camera mounts. I've researched it a bit and have found some different models, but was hoping somebody here on the board has used one. |

Very nice Keith! The "Track Vision" that appears at the bottom of the screen, is that a seperate program, or is it something that was provided by that particular track. VERY COOL!

A friend used two exhaust clamps welded to a base to clamp it to the cross bar..

Thanks for all the help. I talked to a few other sources and found the following:
http://chasecam.com/ In car camera setups. $$$ but looks pretty good. Then for mounts I found these guys http://www.b-hague.co.uk/camera_suct...uum_mounts.htm Again, not the cheapest in the world, but pretty good looking stuff. On a few euro sites guys swore by these mounts! Anyway, just thought I would share my findings. |
