Using '69 Camaro front valance panel on '67 Firebird?

Can you use the '69 Camaro front valance panel (the one with the two round foglights) on a '67 Firebird without having to modify it?

If you can't does anyone know how much modification would have to be done to get it to work?

Thanks,

You mean like this ? You can use it. The "V" is slightly more on the 69 panel. I picked a cheap one up from Unlimited Products purely for fitting. If you are keeping the Firebird bumper and not shaving it, then you will have to trim the valence to fit. Fiberglass is a lot easier to play with than metal. See attached.

i like that hideaway light pshop you did.. kinda like a cross between a 69 gto and a firebird/camaro.

Thanks. Forgot about that in the pic. That was one of the earlier ideas for what is now carbon fiber on Project Freebird.

Glad you like the frontend. We went through something like 100 photoshop renderings before Kris got a hold of it and worked his magic to come up with the final look. If you saw all of the hood/grille/bumper/valence/light/stripe combinations you would laugh...
