Booster Or Not?
Hey guys,
I have a booster on my car right now and it seems like it just kills the engine conpartment. Do I really need to run one? I have 13s in the front and 12s on the back I think The engine conpartment would look alot better without it. Thanks:thumbsup: |
I didn't run one on my camaro with the big brakes, it was fine, and broke well. I kinda like the mechanical feel too.

Thanks:thumbsup:

OH! Your not? Sorry! My Bad!

If you're going to run manual brakes, then I think you should look at running twin master cylinders with a balance bar. Payton has a trick setup in his 69, maybe he can post a picture.

That would be Great I would Love to see it! Thanks |
Here you go
I had Jim Pettigrew make this up for me. The set-up uses stock pedals and mount and he modified one pedal and the mounting bracket. I did have to cut 2 new holes for the masters to go through. These are not the best pics in the world, so if you want to see something specific just let me know and i will take more.

you can run no booster if your pedal in your car is for a manual brake car. The pedal ratio needs to be correct or your brakes will feel odd and not work properly.
We recessed the master on our nomad into the firewall.......and had a cover machined for it. http://www.kdhotrods.com/55Nomad_engine3.html |
